First held in 2017, WYIE is set to encourage young minds to explore their creative and critical thinking skills through innovative inventions once more via the Asian Young Inventors Exhibition (AYIE) and the Malaysian Young Inventors Exhibition (MYIE).
2018 saw nationwide participation from 91 primary and secondary institutions in addition to participants from seven other countries, totaling close to a whopping 400 inventions between them.
One of the largest Young Inventors Exhibition in Asia, AYIE is one of the main pillars which supported the successful staging of ITEX in recent years. This concurrent event places young inventors on a pedestal to showcase their talents to an international audience. AYIE nurtures the inventive spirits and fosters innovative skills at a young age.
Opening its doors to schools from all 14 states in Malaysia, MYIE provides a platform for young Malaysian inventors to showcase their winning innovations. MYIE will feature winners emerging from national level young inventors competition.
TECH TALK @ ITEX
Technology changes at lightning speed and constantly staying updated is a must if you want to remain relevant. Be in the know with the Tech Talk series, which is a goldmine of knowledge with talks by industry experts on the latest in the technology world.
INVENTION & DESIGN COMPETITION
If you’re an inventor, the ITEX competition is the stage for you to shine. Open to all participating inventors, the competition gives participants a platform to gain recognition for their inventions in addition to compete against other international inventors for local and international awards.
Sell your idea at the pitching sessions, and you just might get an investor! The sessions continue to be the ideal launchpad for inventions, catering to product planning, to make its break into the market.
STEM AI WORKSHOP @ ITEX
Invention often begins with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and is the cornerstones of modern invention. However, in the fast-paced world where innovation come and go in the blink of an eye, the arrival of disruptive technologies puts Artificial Intelligence next to STEM.
In a fun approach using hands-on problem-solving experience, learn how to transform STEM to STEM AI projects using IoT within 10 minutes! Spaces are very limited in this special workshop, so register quickly for this one-day only programme on 21st November 2020.

YOUNG INVENTOR SHOWCASE
Young inventors from local and international schools have their own showcase to introduce their ingenious creations. Always a treat for young geniuses to be able to gain recognition for their work!
Looking to gain business insights? The industry seminar is a public session that aims to educate participants on the business aspect of inventions. Notable speakers from venture capital companies, angel investors and other financiers will impart their knowledge and assist entrepreneurs in understanding the basic and important aspects in business.
